Living Hours Accreditation

Living Hours Accreditation

We’re pleased to share that Kick is now officially accredited as a Living Hours Employer. This means that relevant staff members working with us are entitled to:

• A minimum of four weeks’ notice for shifts
• A contract that accurately reflects the hours you regularly work
• A guaranteed minimum of 16 hours of work per week

The Living Hours standard was created to provide predictable working patterns and income, helping people plan their lives with greater certainty. Building on our existing Living Wage accreditation, this commitment ensures our staff have the security and stability of work they need to manage their everyday lives.

We are among a growing number of employers who are adopting this standard in gaining the Living Hours accreditation. If you're interested, you can see other organisations offering Living Hours here: www.livingwage.org.uk/living-hours.

This accreditation extends beyond our directly employed staff — it also applies to third-party contracted workers. We work with our providers to ensure that staff on our contracts, such as cleaners and security personnel, also receive Living Hours contracts.

“I'm delighted that we've achieved the Real Living Hours accreditation, in addition to our Real Living Wage accreditation, which highlights our commitment to providing fair and predictable working hours for our employees, ensuring their well-being and stability. This significant achievement demonstrates our dedication to fostering a supportive work environment for all our employees.” Jill Crumlish, Head of HR
